Motivate Students - Encourage Creative Expression - Promote an Innovative Spirit

Discovery World's S.T.E.M +PLUS program amplifies the existing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) education model by connecting it to concepts that motivate students beyond the classroom by including new media, design, creativity and innovation. S.T.E.M. +PLUS educates for the workforce, prepares for postsecondary education and introduces students to entrepreneurial thinking. The S.T.E.M. +PLUS programs accelerate education to a whole new level, connecting learning to everyday life.

School Lab Programs

We have developed a wide array of programs for high school students. Our programs are organized into interdisciplinary fields of inquiry reflecting the dynamic interplay of science, technology, art, economics, and their impact on our society and the environment.

Within these fields of inquiry, we identified major subject areas to help you match programs that are designed to address state academic standards in life science, language arts, technology, math and social studies.

Also offered are skill-based programs that intensify student learning, giving them the skills and tools to translate knowledge into products such as booklets, videos, or prototypes.

Discovery World's Programs will connect your students to innovation, creativity, science, technology, and the environment; especially our freshwater resources and the Great Lakes.
