Discovery World is located off of Lincoln Memorial Drive on Milwaukee’s Lakefront between the Milwaukee Art Museum and Summerfest Grounds.

From the airport or South (Racine, Kenosha or Chicago)
As you approach the Marquette Interchange on I-94/43, the right
lane becomes an exit for Plankinton Avenue only. Take this exit and
head north on Plankinton to Michigan Street. Turn right. Take Michigan
all the way to the lake. Michigan St. ends at Discovery World.
From I-43 South (Beloit or Rockford)
Take I-43 north to I-894. Take I-894/US-45 North to I-94. Take
I-94 east to I-794. Take the Lakefront exit (Lincoln Memorial Drive).
Turn right onto Michigan St., just south of the Art Museum. Discovery
World will be on your right.
From the North (Green Bay)
Take I-43 south to the McKinley/Fond Du Lac exit. Take McKinley
Street to Water. Turn right on Water and proceed to Michigan St.
Turn left on Michigan and proceed all the way to the lake. Michigan
St. ends at Discovery World.
From North (West Bend)
Take US-45 south to I-94. Head East on I-94 to I-794. Take the
Lakefront exit (Lincoln Memorial Drive). Turn right at Michigan St.,
just south of the Art Museum. Discovery World will be on your right.
From the West (Madison)
Take I-94 east to I-794. Follow I-794 to the Lakefront exit (Lincoln
Memorial Drive). Turn right at Michigan St., just south of the Art
Museum. Discovery World will be on your right.
Discovery World’s underground parking lot can hold 200 vehicles. Handicap parking spots are available and conveniently located near the elevator. Prices for the lot are as follows:

What hours is Discovery World open?
We are open Tuesday - Friday 9am-4pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. Late hours are from 4pm-8pm every 2nd Thursday, of every month.
Closed Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Independence Day.
When is the best time to visit?
Generally, Discovery World is most active between the hours of 9am-1pm.
How long does it take to tour the facility?
Discovery World has so much to offer, but generally you should plan 1-2 hours to visit our exhibits, plus an additional 1-2 hours if you are planning to view one of our fascinating movies in the Digital Theater, or take part in a Lab or TV Studio experience.
Is Discovery World handicap accessible?

Where can I park if I am arriving by car?
Discovery World offers paid parking underneath our facility. The ramp going down to the parking garage is located on the west side (front) of the building. Other paid parking options are available within walking distance to Discovery World.
Is there Motorcoach parking?
Bus parking is available for $10 on Harbor Drive, a very short walking distance from Discovery World. There is no on-site parking available.
