Family Weekend Workshop: Feasting on Science
Finally, a chance to play with your food! We will experiment with some of your favorite Thanksgiving foods to learn how butter and whipped cream are so similar, why cranberries float, and why yeast rises. Find out the answers to these questions and more as we examine the science behind your favorite holiday foods.
This open lab will use food products that may contain: eggs, milk, soy, and wheat. You may come into contact with items handled in a facility that processes nuts. Please speak with
the educator about any allergy concerns.
All Workshops are walk-up only. Pre-registration is unnecessary. Classes are limited to 20 people at a time. All ages are welcome, but adult supervision is required.
