Family Weekend Workshop: Lake Bottom Life
The thick mud at the bottom of the Lake may look lifeless, but it’s actually teeming with microscopic life. Learn how to sample the bottom of Lake Michigan, and then discover what is living there by making your own colorful bacteria garden in a jar. Part of the lab will be outside, weather permitting.
Workshops begin at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm and last 45-minutes.
Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
