Halloween at Discovery World

Every single year we look forward to Halloween at Discovery World. There are costumes, candy, and spooktacular Halloween decorations throughout the building.

Yes, this year will be different than in previous years. For instance, our Halloween experience won’t occur over one big night like in years past. Instead, we invite you to join us in costume from Wednesday, October 21 through Sunday, November 1. Whatever days work best for your family.

So what should you expect for Discovery World Halloween? We thought you’d never ask! Every child that visits during Halloween will receive a small bag of candy. We know that trick-or-treating may be canceled in your neighborhood this year, so let us be one of your special candy stops this season.

We’re also thrilled to announce that in celebration of the spooky holiday we’ll be unveiling the reopening of The Challenge beginning Saturday, October 24th. We couldn’t be more excited about this news as we’ve heard from many Members about your desire to once again climb aboard the replica of a Great Lakes Schooner that sailed from 1852-1889.

There will also be chances to win fun prizes during Halloween at Discovery World. Our social media Costume Contest is returning with a full year of Membership as the prize. Simply snap a photo of your family visiting the museum in costume and share it with us via Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter with a caption that includes #DiscoveryWorld.

We know this year will be a bit different but that only makes us want to spend Halloween with you even more! See you on the lakefront.

Thank you to Roundy’s for supplying all the candy for Halloween at Discovery World.
