Helmet Design

Human Brain, Measurement, Protection

Examine the anatomy of the brain and skull to learn how designers and engineers create helmets for a variety of purposes. Students will learn the physics of the features behind helmet design. Inspired by helmet evolution, students will then create custom-fit design prototypes for future helmets from easily manipulated materials.
