Join the Kohl’s Design It! Lab team through the Design Futurist Internship Program.  High School students who enjoy creating with their hands, tinkering & building, and learning new technologies for design are encouraged to apply.  This opportunity not only allows students to explore and experiment with tools and materials of the industrial design world, but also gain experience in a professional and educational setting.

Design Futurist Interns work with our team in the Kohl’s Design It! Lab and throughout Discovery World. They will learn how design can be taught in a public setting while gaining valuable customer service skills. They will also be introduced to industrial design tools and equipment such as vacuum formers, heat sealers, a sample cutter, and laser cutters.
