Make a Reservation

Discovery World is available for field trips and lab experiences most Tuesdays-Fridays from 9am-4pm during the calendar school year, and seasonal Mondays from 9am-4pm. Please note, during the summer months, lab experiences, movies, and theater shows are not available due to Discovery World Summer Camp.

Reservations may be made Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm at 414.765.8625 or you may submit an online request using the form below. Please read over the Planning a Trip FAQs and our Price Guide for more trip information. Reservations must be made at least three (3) weeks in advance or more. No reservations will be accepted without at least three weeks notice.

No trip is confirmed until payment is received. No refunds will be issued for cancellations with less than two (2) weeks notice or “no shows.” All payments are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for persons missing on the day of the trip. School Group admission rates only apply during the academic school year.

To start the reservations process, you may submit a request below. Remember, requests must be made at least three (3) weeks in advance or more. Once your request has been received, a representative from the Reservations Department will be in touch with you to confirm information. If you do not receive a response within 4 business days, please call 414.765.8625 or email reservations@discoveryworld.org to check the status of your request.

  • Note: Our minimum chaperone requirement is one (1) adult for every ten (10) students/children attending. For every 10 students/children you bring, you will receive one (1) complimentary adult admission.


  • For no additional charge, you may bring bag lunches and eat in our lunch room. Discovery World will pre-assign a lunch time in 30-minute intervals. Subject to availability. Groups may be split up for lunches, if needed, depending on lunch room availability. Reservations must be made in advance. If your group has scheduled lunch time, we will require that your group’s lunches be contained in suitable containers labeled with your group name. Such suitable containers include boxes, coolers, laundry baskets, plastic storage totes, etc. No containers will be provided to you.
  • Lab programs are only available for Gr 3+ only, unless noted otherwise. Please make sure any lab program you are interested in is appropriate for your student’s grade level before selecting. A list of our program options and descriptions can be found at https://www.discoveryworld.org/learning/schools. There is a 10 student minimum required for all lab programs. Labs are not available for booking early June through early September due to Discovery World Summer Camps. Kohl’s Design It! Lab programs are grant based. Group must meet grant qualifications to be eligible to schedule any Kohl’s Design It! Lab programs. Groups that do not meet grant qualifications are not eligible to participate in these programs. Kohl's Design It! Labs are not available for booking on Fridays. All labs are subject to availability.
    20 person minimum required for new showings. 130 person maximum per showing. Multiple groups can be booked into a single showing.

  • Gr 1-5 Only. A scavenger hunt and activity stations around Discovery World. The required minimum attendance to run this program is 15 students. The maximum allowed per session is 50 students. [Not available early June-mid-September. Subject to availability.]

  • If you have any attendees that need special accommodations, considerations, and/or who have any special needs we should be aware of, please let us know. This would include, but is not limited to, attendees who are in wheelchairs, students with individual aides, anyone who is an English Language Learner and is bringing their own interpreter, and/or attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing that are bringing their own interpreter, etc. Knowing this information in advance helps us prepare better for your group and allows a better experience. We may reach out to you if we have any follow-up questions.
